Many young Nigerians start knowing about Nigeria in the last 16 years and they have never bothered to know where we are coming from
it was not in the last 16 years that NITEL crashed(it crashed under Buhari, IBB, ABACHA military regimes, it was under the last sixteen years that telecommunication was fixed and you are able to have phone.
It was not in the last 16 years that our airways crashed, it was under Buhari, IBB and ABACHA military regimes that it crashed, it was under the last four years that our aviation sector attracted the best face lift ever.
Our railway did not crashed in the last 16 years, it was under the last 4 years that we started seeing it fixed and work is still ongoing.
It was not in the last 16 years that the education sector crashed, IBB BUHARI and ABACHA military regimes crashed it, it was under their watch that Nigerian started going to Ghana to school in. last four years so much of the infrastructures in our institutions have been refurbished yes so much still need to be done because it took DECADES for them to kill the system.
It was not in the last 16 years that quota system was introduced, it was under Buhari, IBB and Abacha regime, where I will score 200 in an external exams and lose admission in a federal school because I am from Enugu or Anambra and
someone will score 40 and gain admission because he is from Kebbi or Sokoto states thereby contributing greatly to fall in quality of education.
It was not in the last 16 years that our government did not build any power plant to meet the increasing demand for energy infact, it was in the last five year that several power plant was built by the time this regime completes the gas plants that will supply gas to this power plant power must have surged to 10,000 megawatts. Which will reasonably increase power supply.
I must admit that in the last 16 years Nigerian expectations have not been met especially the 8 years OBJ played with but irrespective of that it was still better than the disastrous years of BUHARI....IBB and ABACHA military regimes.
Talking about when you know me maybe you knew me during election and election world over is not the time to criticise a candidate you support it is a time you project the strength of your candidate while projecting the weakness of his opponent.
My problem is that most young Nigerians are seeing our political landscape with the prism of political party much more before the elections, I am among those who hated PDP, I also rejoiced when APC was formed but I was disappointed that all the known troublers of Nigeria just divided themselves into APC and PDP I said no, this guys can’t deceive me, I have been reading about this nation since my primary school and I know that the two parties are bunch of DECEIVERS one manage to be using the media better thereby having followers that are ignorantly shouting change I have NEVER really made case for PDP.
I have constantly made my case for GEJ because I know the quality of work he did even in the midst of his mistakes in JUST 5 years infact, he is the Nigerian leader with the least mistakes only that some have vowed that he must be dealt with hence the media bashing.
