Dr. Chinedu Nneji, the Commandant General of the National Unity and Peace Corps (NUPEC), has reacted to the passage of the Nigerian Peace Corps bill.

Nneji assured Nigerians that in three months the Nigerian Peace Corps will end Boko Haram insurgency and secession agitations in Nigeria Daily Trust reports.

Nneji stated this in reaction to the passage of the Nigerian Peace Corps bill by the Senate.

The Nigerian Senate on Tuesday, July 25, finally passed the Peace (establishment) Corps bill.

The NPC is an offshoot of NUPEC and Peace Corps of Nigeria.
