I have listened to many analysts, commentators and programme presenters especially the "one niGERianists" claim that referendum cannot be allowed to be conducted for Biafra because the constitution of the contraption called Nigeria does not recognise referendum.
The question these charlatans should answer is: Does the constitution of the contraption recognise "the Doctrine of Necessity?"
Was the doctrine of necessity that was not recognised by the constitution not activated by the country's national assembly to replaced President Yar'adua with President Jonathan in 2011 when it became necessary?
Let the country's national assembly follow same step to activate Biafra's referendum.
Another disgusting comments that these charlatans equally keep making is that the Biafran agitators should get law makers from their region to demand for the
referendum.
I still remember vividly that it is not the law maker(s) from Bayelsa that moved the motion for the activation of doctrine of necessity. The then Senate President did.
Thus, in same vein, let the Biafran referendum should be activated same way that doctrine of necessity was activated.
Until that is done and date for the referendum announced, the Biafran agitation will continue to get louder.
Finally, if referendum can not be called for Biafra because it is not in the constitution, is "restructuring" that this "miss road charlatans" are currently calling for in the Nigeria's constitution?
Off course, this is another failed argument by the status quo must remain charlatans.
